Every now and then, a TAE graduating student writes a review that we believe really captures what we try to do. Instead of them ending up hidden among the others, we will share them with you, and try to explain why we think they are so appropriate. This one is from a Cert IV TAE graduate.
For an affordable training option, Fortress Learning has put together a good package. The materials are good and help to complete the assessments. I had some administrative issues but Fortress were helpful in solving them and took responsibility for their part. They were very consistent in offering assistance throughout the course. The online system is well set up, and suits fitting it into your own schedule if you are self-motivated.
At the time of Fortress’ conception, the cost of undertaking VET qualifications was exorbitant; and its accessibility was limited. This meant that a huge population was excluded from VET… they couldn’t get a foot in the door.
So – to offer accessible, quality training became the foundation of Fortress Learning.

Times have changed since 2008. Certainly, there are numerous RTO’s offering cheap online courses – but arguably, this comes at a high cost to the quality of their service.
