A Different Way To Complete Your Cert IV TAE40122

Are you looking to attend some Zoom classes to complete more of the learning and assessments with a trainer leading it instead of on your own, and to connect with others on the same journey as you?

Join our Zoom course on the days you choose. You can join for 1 day, 1 cluster or all clusters (the whole 12 days).

Be aware: These Zooms have prerequisites that must be completed before you can attend, so please make sure you have read what they are and have completed them before registering, otherwise you won’t be accepted to do the Zoom classes.

What You Need To Know

  1. For each day you want to register to attend, you must click on the applicable day below and make a payment.
  2. Once your payment has been received, you will receive a thank you notification with a link to register for the class itself (this is how you get the Zoom class link).
  3. All payments must be made at least 24 hours prior to the date of the workshop. This allows time for us to confirm that you have completed your prerequisites and approve your request to attend.
  4. If we receive registrations and you haven’t completed the prerequisite work, we will cancel the registration and inform you that you are required to reregister once the prerequisite work is complete. Note: You will not be charged again if you have already paid for this day.

Week 1 – Cluster 1

IMPORTANT: Pre Requisite – Registration Requirements

  1. Prior to registering for Cluster 1: Day 1, 2, 3 – please ensure you have completed all Learning Lessons and submitted your TAEPDD401/BSBAUD412 Knowledge Questions.
  2. If you have NOT completed these knowledge questions prior to registering, your registration will be declined, and you will be required to re-register when they have been completed and submitted.

  • TAEDES412 Knowledge Questions

Cluster 3 Day 2 Practical Skills Workshop To:

  • Participate and contribute to 3 pre-assessment validation meetings allowing for the completion of Assignment of Pre-assessment Validation
  • Participate and contribute to 3 post assessment validation meetings allowing you to complete Post-assessment validation
 Students completing the TAESS00019 skillset can attend this day. Note: Assess competence assignment is completed externally outside of class. Students completing TAESS00028 skillset can attend days 3 and 4, and students completing TAESS00021 skillset can attend this day (for the practice of delivery only but not mandatory because no assessment occurs – the actual delivery part of your assessment happens outside of this class.) Cluster 3 Day 3 Practical Skills Assessment Task:

  • Assignment 1 – Deliver and Assess Groups
  • Assignment 2 – Deliver individual training
    • Preparation and set up of session plans and resources, and instructions + Assessment Tools for use in assessment and RPL Assessment process (Assignments 1 and 2 for delivery to groups and individuals)
  • Clarify how to submit your assessment and explain the next steps; completion of Cluster 3 lessons and Knowledge Questions

Week 4 – Cluster 4

IMPORTANT: Pre-Requisite – Registration Requirements

  1. Prior to registering for Cluster 4: Day 1, 2, 3 – please make sure you have completed all Learning Lessons and submitted the following:

  • TAEASS404 Knowledge Questions

2. If you have NOT completed these Questions prior to registering your registration will be declined and you will be required to re-register when the knowledge Questions have been submitted or completed.

Cluster 4 Day 1 Facilitator-led Knowledge Refresher:

  • Q and A plus facilitated discussion to check your knowledge from your pre-work and answer any Knowledge Questions questions

Practical Skills Assessment Task – Prep: Assignment 1 (Online Delivery and Assessment)

  • Preparation of Steps 1-4 ready for online delivery including plan, organise and facilitate two different asynchronous activities for learners who form part of the above group and conduct one asynchronous assessment activity

IMPORTANT: Pre Requisite – Registration Requirements for Cluster 4 Day 2

  1. Before registering for Cluster 4: Day 2– please make sure you have completed steps 1 – 4 of the TAEDEL405-TAEASS404 Assignment.
  2. If you attended Day 1, this will have been completed and you can register for the day 2 practical component of the assessment.

If you did not attend Day 1 and have NOT completed Steps 1-4,  you will not be able to complete the practical component of this workshop.

Cluster 4 Day 2 Practical Skills Workshop Minimum attendance – 4 participants

  • Assignment 1 (Online Delivery and Assessment)
  • Facilitate 2 x sessions of 30 minutes to a group of 3 learners, during session student must also conducts one synchronous assessment activity

How will this work?

  • Students in groups of 4 will rotate delivering their 2 sessions
  • Registration numbers must be equal amounts of 4 or 8 or 12
