- Our standard online program, is offered via full coursework with unlimited support from our trainers via phone, email and video call.
- Our RPL and Credit Transfer program, with the same available support as the standard online program; however, if you have scope for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT), we’ll factor this in and create an individual program that caters to your prior experience.
- Our Lite program, offered via full coursework but with email support only. This is a low fee option perfect for those who wish to work independently through their program and don’t require significant support from our trainers.
- Our Zoom Program. The benefits of both face-to-face and online delivery all in one!

The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the entry requirement to deliver nationally accredited vocational training in private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and TAFEs, as well as in secondary schools with vocational programs. This qualification is fast becoming the standard for those working in staff training and development roles in a variety of private enterprises, as well as for Human Resource professionals.

The Australian Qualification Framework provides guidelines to the learning outcomes for each AQF level and qualification type. The level of difficulty of a Certificate IV should be aligned with the requirements of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 4 (out of 10 levels).
In terms of difficulty, we want to be transparent with you and let you know that the Certificate IV TAE is one of the more extensive courses you will complete as there is a lot of terminology and new knowledge and skills that you will learn.
If you are already in a training role (even informally training workplace colleagues etc) then you will certainly be able to bring your existing skills and knowledge to the course which will ensure that navigating the world iof VET is a little less daunting.
The common threat is that the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is time consuming. It is a rather large course comprising of 10 units, with 14 assessments (6 sets of Knowledge Questions and 8 Assignments) some of them being quite time intensive. The Australian Qualification Framework provides guidelines for the learning outcomes for each AQF level and qualification type. Diplomas sit at an AQF level 5 and are therefore a higher qualification than a Certificate IV.
If you are looking to complete a Diploma rather than a Certificate IV, bear in mind that the current TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and TAE50216 Diploma of Trainig, Design and Development do require quite extensive evidence related to designing, delivering and assessing formal Qualifications and leading other trainer and assessor in best practice so holding the TAE40116 Certificate IV TAE and working for an RTO will ensure that you are able to complete all of the assessment requirements for these Diplomas
