- Our new TAE40122 Cert IV in Training and Assessment was launched in April 2023 and is currently offered online. Our TAE40122 is available with 3 different levels of support. The Standard Support Package is perfect for people who are able to motivate themselves and require minimum support. Our Extra Support Package includes limited one-on-one trainer support for those needing extra help. And our Ultimate Support Package offers unlimited one-on-one trainer support for those who need even more support and/or are anxious about studying online.
- Suppose you have scope for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT). In that case, we have the capacity to factor this in and create an individual program that caters to your prior experience. Our TAE40122 RPL and CT program option (available in August 2023) will have support options similar to the full TAE40122 Cert IV.

The Australian Qualification Framework provides guidelines to the learning outcomes for each AQF level and qualification type. The level of difficulty of a Certificate IV should be aligned with the requirements of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 4 (out of 10 levels).
Regarding difficulty, we want to be transparent with you and let you know that the Certificate IV TAE is one of the more extensive courses you will complete as there is a lot of terminology and new knowledge and skills that you will learn.
If you are already in a training role (even informally training workplace colleagues etc) then you will certainly be able to bring your existing skills and knowledge to the course, which will ensure that navigating the world of VET is a little less daunting.
The common thread is that the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is time-consuming.

The Australian Qualification Framework provides guidelines for the learning outcomes for each AQF level and qualification type. Diplomas sit at an AQF level 5 and are therefore a higher level qualification than a Certificate IV.
If you are looking to complete a Diploma rather than a Certificate IV, bear in mind that the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and TAE50216 Diploma of Training, Design and Development (both now superseded by the TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training) does require quite extensive evidence related to designing, delivering and assessing formal qualifications and leading other trainer and assessors in best practice, so holding the TAE40122 Certificate IV TAE and working for an RTO will ensure that you are able to complete all of the assessment requirements for the Diploma.
